What a lighting plan does

No guesswork, but a calculation.

A lighting plan translates how a room is used into light. How many lux are needed on the work surface? How do you prevent glare on screens? Which colour temperature suits the function?

We model your rooms in DIALux (or Relux), place the luminaires and calculate the result. You see in advance whether the design complies, and what it costs and delivers.

Frequently asked questions

Is your question not listed? Call or email us, we respond within one working day.

Ask your question
What does a lighting plan cost?
The QuickScan is free. For a complete lighting plan, the effort depends on the number of rooms and the complexity. You receive a proposal in advance, so you know where you stand.
Which software do you use?
We work with DIALux evo and, where required, with Relux. You can receive the results as a PDF report.
What do you need from me?
A floor plan (PDF or DWG), the ceiling height, the use of each room and, if available, photos of the current situation.
Can my own installer carry out the plan?
Yes. The plan contains all the information an installer needs. Installers can order the luminaires via b2b.lumexa.nl.
Does the plan meet the standards?
We design according to EN 12464-1 for indoor lighting and, where applicable, EN 12464-2, EN 1838 and EN 12193.
